ABC Music School is fantastic! It is staffed by friendly, well educated, experienced music teachers! My daughter has improved dramatically and really looks forward to her lessons now. I would give them six stars if I could. Highly recommended!

Scott at Big Johnson’s Guitars/ABC Music is not only a fantastic luthier/tech, but he’s really friendly and enjoyable to chat with! He’s a wealth of knowledge and a wizard at what he does!

After about a decade off from playing guitar, I thought I’d rekindle the old passion. I received a lovely electric guitar recently and the second I opened it up and hit the stings the d string popped. I was bit flustered as it was a Floyd rose bridge and it was so long since I messed with one. This is where Scott comes in! I found Scott and Big Johnson’s Guitars/ABC Music after first seeing them on the way grocery shopping. However, upon further research it was clear he was the go to guy based on other reviews. He did not disappoint! He set my new guitar up like a dream. And all with a one day turnaround. It was almost surreal to touch it after because it felt just like my guitar I had to sell years ago. It’s so awesome to get back into playing. Thanks to Scott this baby feels, plays, and looks like a dream. On top of this, Scott fixed my acoustic/electric that had a broken battery cable. Which he also did in a day turnaround time. His prices are very fair! It’s now been about a week and everything is still top notch. If I’m not mistaken he’s the go to for most music shops around here too from what I’ve experienced. And it seems everyone I run into uses Scott! You should use Scott too. He’s fantastic! I highly recommend Scott at Big Johnson’s and ABC music!

Scott at Big Johnson's Guitars is hands down the best (and friendliest) guitar tech I've worked with. I brought in two electric guitars to get work done - one just a basic set up, and the other several upgrades and a set up. Wow, was I impressed.

The entire process was smooth and informative. When I discussed the work with Scott prior to dropping the guitars off, I could immediately tell he knew what I was looking for and how to achieve it.

Then, as the work began, Scott sent me dozens of text messages with questions and helpful suggestions. He even included a ton of photos showing the expert level of work he was doing on my guitars. He was very transparent!

The work he did was exceptional. He is clearly a master at what he does! Glad to have found a local guitar shop and guitar tech that I can trust!

I have been working with Scott for many years for both school and personal music consultation, instrument purchases, and private lessons for students. He is always willing to help, often has the necessities in stock, and if he doesn't, he knows how to get things quickly. His prices are very competitive and he works to accommodate individual needs and budget. Private teachers are top notch -- highly recommend this shop and school!

If you have a guitar in need of repair or set up look no further, Scott is your guy! I’ve taken two of my guitars — one needed all new electronics, the other need a new nut and fret dressing. I couldn’t be more pleased the results, Scott absolutely nailed it. Now I never want to put them down!

I’ve also taken a PA head/speakers and bass amp that needed repair and he did an amazing job on those as well. Great guy, fair prices, can’t be beat.
