Bushi Ban Seymour

I joined Bushi ban one year ago and it was the best decision I could have made. Right after I took my first class I knew that this was the place for me. The teacher was so welcoming and friendly. All the adults in the class made me feel instantly part of the group when I stepped on the mat. I love the values that Master John teaches his students and his instructors. Amazing people, amazing classes and an overall fun environment! 😊😁

My son and I have been taking classes from both locations for a couple years now and we not only love the classes themselves but I love the atmosphere and family-like environment. The school has not only been such a godsend to my son who has definitely grown and matured from the classes, but a great outlet for me to get back into my workout routine after having two babies. I’m not a “run on the treadmill” person and the kickboxing and jui jitsu has been awesome outlets to get me back in shape. If that wasn’t enough, the owner is a huge supporter of the community and so many charities that ring home to so many. Need more people in the world like this! Would recommend to everyone, for the whole family! Something for everyone to take and it feels like a second home when walking in. So happy they are here in the community especially in a time when kids can only benefit from the values and teachings of the school.

I would just like to say how wonderful Bushi Ban and staff have been towards the children in our Foundation I that assists children who lost a parent. He goes out of his way to donate his time to help these children and their struggles. Master John is kind, patient and a huge supporter of our Mission and our "kindess initiative" within the Town of Seymour. He has been an integral part of this initiative and has helped spearhead the Buddy Bench project as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and during our kickboxing class he always encouraged us and helped us reach our max potential! I highly recommend Bushi Ban for all ages!

Bushi Ban is an amazing place to learn martial arts, self defense and get stronger (physically and mentally). Sensei John is extremely knowledgeable and all the teachers are very patient and dedicated to explaining everything in a way that works for you. The classmates are all kind and friendly, you feel welcomed right away! The classes are demanding but also very fun!! So you get to work out and get fit while enjoying yourself. I love going to Bushi Ban 💕
