I was very happy with the care I received with Dr. Ponomarenko. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. The procedure I had with him at the hospital went very smoothly also. Little down time and little pain. This is the physician you want to see, no nonsense and direct answers. I highly recommend him and his staff as well who are very efficient.
My daughter (15 at the time) had an appendectomy last November. Dr. Ponomarenko was kind and explained what would happen. We felt like we were in good hands and think he’s an excellent surgeon. The surgery went well and there were no complications. He was a bit quiet and not very chatty, but that’s okay with me. I was glad his attention was on my daughter.
I feel bad for the people who had such a bad experience. Perhaps he was having an off day and you definitely should have gotten a follow up. I’ve had bad experiences at hospitals before so I feel your pain.
Dr. Ponomarenko performed a difficult surgery on me and has been extremely helpful in explaining my situation, which is a unique one. He has walked me through the different aspects of my case and has set me up well to have the best results possible. I appreciate all he has done for me.

Took over 4 hours due to some serious complications.
3 days after the surgery I was resting in Dominican rep only thanks to Dr. Ponomarenko.
I disagree with some negative comments posted. Negative person - always posting negative comments, so the value of their feedback is negligent.
