Max Pizza 4

First time here excellent atmosphere, good drinks and really good pizza. Our server Allison was very responsive and had a great personality. Save room for the ice cream!

Take out was ready right on time and piping hot. Large beef gyro was stuffed to the brim with flavorful beef strips and fresh toppings. The beef had a pre-made patty feel to it that didn’t bother me, but don’t expect real shaved steak if you order this. For the price though, I’m not sure you can beat a take out meal like this. The large gyro, onion rings, and coleslaw was quite the meal and could easily be two meals for someone with a smaller appetite. Pita was very soft and absolutely coated in the creamy sauce which had a really nice flavor that complimented the char on the beef. Coleslaw had a nice bite, but could have used a little more pepper. Overall, Max’s is a staple in the area for a reason. Service was friendly, even just for us picking up our takeout, the cashier was happy to help. Pizza is also super consistent from here, and highly recommended if you like their style.

Normally we get Max Pizza but this time wasn’t good. We ordered a large veggie pizza and what we got was pretty heavily burned. At first my wife and I were wondering if we both were going crazy and we took a second look and noticed most of the veggies were blackened on the edges and the bottom was much darker and harder than usual.
