The Owl Wine & Food Bar

Have you ever eaten somewhere that instantly gives you a warm, welcoming feeling? That’s exactly what The Owl feels like. We visited with a large group right before the holidays, with multiple food allergies, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and reassuring. Every dish we had was excellent, and I can honestly say it was some of the best gluten-free pizza many of us have ever had.

A special shoutout to the owner, Ryna, who truly went above and beyond to make the birthday girl feel so special. We are beyond grateful for such a wonderful experience.

It's a nice restaurant located in the quaint town of New Preston. A short walk to shops, a candy store, and even a waterfall. Since it's a wine bar, there were plenty to choose from. The service was good and we dined at the outdoor patio.

We started off with some cocktails which were ok. The pizza was also just ok, I did like the pepperoni on it but the crust and sauce wasn't as flavorful. I also had the mango and tuna nachos which were 4/5. The star of the show was their charcuterie board 5/5.

If you are near New Preston CT the owl wine and food bar is off the hook amazing! The staff and food are the best of the best. They have great outdoor summer seating and the overall feel is so comforting. I just left and can't wait to go back again and again.. check them out for yourself you will love it. It's one of the must go places in CT for sure.

Lovely terrace area overlooking pretty New Preston. Delicious food. Went with 5 people and shared a few different things. All great. Service is charming.

Ambience is lovely. Outdoor seating or indoor on patio with exposure. Bar area is warm and cozy with fire in cooler months. Food is seasonal. Unique and delicious! Cocktails are also fabulous. Our server Ali was professional, friendly and spot on in her recommendations! Sunday brunch was phenomenal!
