Antimo's Italian Kitchen

Antimo’s has been my wife and I's go-to spot for pick-up since moving to Hopewell last summer. We’ve lived all over the country, and this is easily one of our favorite family-run Italian restaurants anywhere.

I recently experienced a small miscommunication with our order, but the owner went out of his way to make things right. In one interaction, I went from slightly annoyed to a lifelong customer.

From the quality of the food to the owners and the hard-working kitchen staff, you can feel good about spending your money here. I’ll be a regular as long as I’m in the area. Much respect.

I think this might be the last time I support Antimo’s. Tonight Christmas Eve I called 1st to ensure they were doing take out and ordered to pick up 3 hours before they closed. I ordered 2 chicken parm’s with Vodka Sauce & 2 cannolis it’s our 1st Christmas as new parents who have had a rough year and I thought we deserved a treat. It’s now almost 2.5 hours later that I’m getting to my food because hey I have a baby. & the majority of our 2 dishes were generic red sauce with a top layer of vodka sauce. This isn’t the 1st time it’s closer to the 5th and I know I made it clear on the phone because it even says it on my receipt. When you spend $60 on 2 dinners before taxes you really want the right thing.

I wouldn’t recommend ordering here if you have picky kids because there’s definitely a possibility it won’t be right. I’ve had issues also ordering mozzarella cheese fries where the fries were limp and the cheese was burned onto the bottom of the tin, sandwiches have also been burned in the past.

This place truly feels like a hidden treasure. From the outside you would never guess how warm and charming the inside is. The weather was a bit rough that night, so we ended up with a peaceful and almost private Friday dinner, which felt like a lovely surprise.

The interior is adorable and would be perfect for a baby shower or any special celebration. Service was friendly from start to finish and the food kept impressing us. The menu is packed with amazing choices.

We ordered the peach caprese to start, then shared the lobster ravioli and a pizza. Every single bite was outstanding. Everything tasted so good that we already wanted to plan our next visit while still sitting at the table.

I would gladly recommend this spot to everyone and I will absolutely return. Five stars all the way.

Antimo’s is our favorite local Italian restaurant! My husband and I absolutely love their food, especially the homemade pasta, which is always fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful, and every visit leaves us feeling happy and satisfied.

When we were planning our baby shower, we couldn’t think of a better place. The private room was perfect, and coordinating with the staff was incredibly easy. Everything came together beautifully, and our guests had such a great time. We loved the experience and would happily host another event here in the future.

Antimo’s is a true gem, both for an everyday meal and for life’s special celebrations.

Visited with friends who live in the area and got lots of great food in a nice atmosphere and wonderful service. The Calamari was excellent, arrived hot and crispy with both tentacles and rings with a nice marinara sauce that they provided extra to the table as it was a party of five. They also delivered a nice bread basket with a herb olive oil dipping sauce to the table at seating. We ordered two pizzas one with sausage which was nice chunks of uncased sweet Italian sausage. Also got a nice Greek salad with olives and feta cheese. Two panini sandwiches were ordered and enjoyed as well. Staff kept the bottles of ice water topped off. Interior seating was good for a large party to be able to talk and enjoy the meal. They gave use a plate of cannolis at the end of the meal which was very nice!
