I wanted to check this place out for years and finally did. It's a dingy, dark and smelly bar that takes "dive" to a whole new level. The nice old woman working the bar was very pleasant, however.

I love this place for its middle of no-where wattering hole atmosphere and crazy log cabin ambience. great find on a dark wooded path

    2025 UPDATE
shell of its former glory. One older woman bartender and basically fry chef with a nasty cough that does everything. Place is run down dirty and takes “dive” bar to an extreme level. A poster child established for a bar rescue Jon taffer takeover resuscitation if I’ve ever seen one. They openly acknowledge there’s just no business anymore and it’s just sad and depressing now. Hoping it’s not the end but I don’t see a path forward without serious changes and money being dropped

This place is a gem. Threw a dart at a map looking for a spot to meet a friend and had no clue what we were in for based on the reviews, but it exceeded expectations. When we arrived, the kitchen had just closed, but Kathy fired everything back up for us to have some burgers and fries. The place is full of personalities and we quickly felt right at home amongst the regulars.
If you're looking for soulless hospitality smiles, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for a neighborhood joint where you can talk to strangers like they're old friends and knock back a few drinks: I hope to see you at the bar!

This is the place of the nostalgic bar that we used to know and love before covid and chain restaurants. I visited for the first time today and fell in love with the atmosphere immediately. Kathy was kind, friendly, and her hospitality was second to none. The food was great and I could not have enjoyed my experience any more than I had. It may not be the spot for everybody, but it is the spot for everyone. Please visit your local bar and grill at the Hillbilly Hall and give a shout out to Kathy for running a great place to enjoy food, drink, and talk about the best times we had while making the best times ever.

Casual and comfortable locals bar with decent eats and decent prices.
Has a nice dining room, and a more casual bar area with pool table, video game, darts... cozy and friendly. Biker and family friendly.
