Perfect stop when you're getting tired of the beach. The staff is so friendly and the art (by local artists!) is gorgeous. They also sell gifts, clothing, jewelry, and gently used art supplies. And their Art a la Carte menu is so much fun! My friend and I did projects using gorgeous vintage magazines, and mine is brightening up my living room.
Went to Asbury Park for a beach trip. Absolutely didn't expect to find this gem of a place and less so to spend 3 hours with a friend carving away at our own handcarved stamps. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the space itself is wonderfully decorated and just a great space to support the arts. Will definitely be back!
This was such an amazing and surprising find! I tried Japanese fish printing and had a blast! My sister opted for stamp carving and the optional tote bag add on- she loved it! What a fun and unique experience. We had bad weather for a beach day so this was the perfect indoor entertainment but I honestly would still do this on a sunny day and just have fun with family or friends. Each person in your group can choose a different project which I think is great. The staff was so helpful and kind. They were attentive and gave helpful tips. I would give 10 stars if I could - we really enjoyed this experience and recommend to anyone!
I had such a fun experience at Asbury Park art club! I did a Polaroid painting activity that was super creative, relaxing and something I’ve never done before. The staff members Skyla and Karen were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. I also picked up a few kids’ painting sets as gifts, and they were both adorable and affordable. Everything was well-organized, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Not to mention the store was wonderfully decorated and it was great to look around at all the art work! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a creative day out or thoughtful gifts!
A fun new edition to our area after art cafes became popular in NYC in the last couple years.
The space contains a small shop area featuring clothing and other small trinkets and a separate area for the art studio.
The a la carte art options ranged from around $15 to $35 and from painting to collaging. There’s even a bead bar if you’re making a bracelet. We had a fun time with what we chose!
It’s an expensive outing with more than a couple people, but I will definitely be returning and like supporting local places like this!
