Auto Oasis

I purchased a used vehicle from George last year and have returned for services since. Two weeks ago when the Check Engine light came on George ran the diagnostic test and fixed the problem immediately. He is always personable and professional in every aspect of his business.

I was referred by a friend to Auto Oasis. Very thorough work done on my vehicle that I use for work. Will definitely continue to use George and his services. He was very honest and fair.

George is truly one of a kind these days! He is honest, reliable, and trustworthy. For the past 12 years, anytime me or my family had car troubles we always go to George. He accurately diagnoses issues every time and is always on point! What I value the most is he fixes what needs fixing but also looks over the car and makes sure everything else is okay. Few times he’s spotted things that if gone unnoticed would have caused huge problems down the road. He makes sure the car is running great and is SAFE to drive. George is the type of guy that will for example replace a wheel bearing if it’s bad but let you know the others still have life left in them saving you money. He’s considerate with all his customers not to mention his prices are extremely reasonable, fair, and more affordable then almost all other places. Let’s just say I’ve made the tragic mistake of taking my car to other places in Flemington and been ripped off or ended up with more problems. Having had those experiences, I don’t trust my car being touched by anyone else except George!

With George you are in good hands and I highly recommend him to everyone!

George is a family doctor for cars. He is the best of the best and always knows what to do. George maintained by beloved hand-me-down 2002 Jeep Cherokee for almost 400,000 hard miles until he kindly advised me to put it to rest. George is always there for his customers who count on him for years of dedicated service. Thank you George!

George is an excellent mechanic, and an honest, good hearted man. My father started taking his cars to him about 15 years ago. I followed suit shortly thereafter, as my father had told me countless stories over the years of how honest George was with his time, and could have easily charged more, yet didn’t. Needless to say, I always had that very same experience my father had. Seems like most other mechanics in the area charge the time it takes to diagnose a problem, sometimes on a car they are learning on for the first time, sometimes adding hours of add’l labor to a bill.

He’s the only mechanic in Flemington we know who proved comfortable to work on our rusty old Honda, in addition to our overly complicated BMW....and doesn’t charge the prices one might expect from a mechanic with such a dynamic skill set.

I asked George once why he felt the need to be so honest, comparing him to another local mechanic in town who will remain unnamed, but who repeatedly ripped us off prior to coming to George. He replied, in short, by saying he’d rather sleep at night.

FYI- This is one of only two reviews I have ever written for ANY reason, if that is any testament to how great this guy is. A real gem.
