If you're looking for a nice secluded place, this is it. I took my daughter here on Friday the 13th to get the Crystal Lake experience. All of the employees are extremely nice. I'm a fan.

I visited for the Camp Chrystal Lake tours. It was amazing. Even if I was not a Friday the 13th fan I would have enjoyed. Tour guides were very knowledgeable. A must do if you are a fan. Many original filming props on-site. Amazing time.

Really fun time visiting the site of the first Friday the 13th film. The camp itself is pretty awesome and makes you wish you were a scout again. The condition of the place makes you feel like it hasn’t changed much from 1980, but it does add to the nostalgia. The staff here are super friendly and organized. Parking is ample. No food on site so either bring snacks or eat before you arrive. Wear boots, the hike is extensive. Recommend bug spray. It was cool seeing were a lot of the scenes were filmed. Tour guide was knowledgeable with a lot of movie facts. Many props from the movie still on site. No Jason Voorhees though😞 all in all had a great time worth checking out def.

Great camp for a cold weather overnight! Cabin 1 & 2 are well equipped for a chilly trip- no kitchen, but plenty of room for backporch cooking. Both are right across the trail from the year-round bathrooms. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from all over the camp. I can only vouch for these two identical cabins, because that's where my troop stayed, but there are other cabins available, as well as lean-to and tent sites. The campmaster is an old-timer scoute who knows a lot and cares about the camp, so please listen to him and follow his directions. We are hoping for more trips to NoBe in the future- it really is a beautiful camp!

If you want a great, challenging 2.5-3 mile hike for your scouts, follow the main road down to the waterfront, go around Price Lodge and continue on to the end of the gravel road. Then follow the blue NoBe Trail markers, and be ready for some steep rock climbing & scrambling! The views at the top of your 500 foot climb will leave you and your scouts speechless. Follow the AT markers down the other side of the mountain along the power lines, and into the woods to the left. Continue down to Beaver Pond, and hang a sharp left before the little bridge to have a more gentle descent back to camp. I would not recommend this hike in wet, icy, or snowy weather.

The Camp Crystal Lake tour was awesome! Our guide Mike was friendly and energetic with a wealth of knowledge about the camp and the filming. Very cool to see some of the scene locations first hand and discuss the finer details. Worth every penny. And yes they have bathrooms on site.
