The motel is in a perfect location. Across the street from the beach. Our first contact was Diane last august, we were looking for a place for 12 of us,family and friends. She showed us around ,we loved it and she really sold the place as far as security and a nice family oriented motel. We booked 5 rooms. All next to each other. We checked in august 25, and met Stella at the front desk. She was an absolute pleasure . She explained how everything worked and all the highlights. She has a fantastic personality and was so welcoming. They have coffee and bagels all day, plenty of parking. The pool was beautiful. The weather was fantastic ,the ocean was fabulous. This was a beautiful vacation for us all.We went on the boardwalk at night ,fireworks, rides, games, ice cream. If you go to seaside park on vacation give this place a try .When you go tell Diane and Stella pat says hi ,see you next summer😎🍷

My family and I stayed here for a few days recently. The room was very clean and had space for us to enjoy the indoors when the weather wasn't cooperating. Great location just across from the beach. Parking was easy and on-site for guests. Loved that there were complimentary bagels and coffee daily. We enjoyed the heated pool. The owners and staff made our stay very comfortable and inviting. Will definitely be back! This place is a gem at the shore!

We have been coming down to The Charlroy for the past 10 or 12 years. Our only go-to place to stay in Seaside!! The girls were so accommodating when we wanted to stay an extra day. They found a room for us, and we moved to that room for the extra night to extend our vacation. The location, friendliness of the staff, and motel itself are the reasons we keep coming back! The only negative thing is having to pack up and go home after a great vacation ❤️ Thank you again...Kristen and Joe

Our stay was okay overall. The location is definitely the highlight—the beach is just across the street, which was super convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk associate was friendly and welcoming.

The outside area was decent, though people smoking near the entrance of the check in area took away from the experience a bit. The room itself was just okay—it could really use some updating. The beds were uncomfortable, and the towels didn’t look clean. That said, housekeeping did a good job keeping the room tidy and mopped the floors daily, which helped a lot with all the sand. The pool is on the smaller side, but clean for our stay. Beach passes available with a holding fee, which is returned once you return the badge's.
Bagels and coffee served daily for breakfast for a quick bite to eat!

It wasn’t a bad stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

We usually stay in 4- and 5-star hotels, so this isn’t normally our kind of place, but we wanted to be walking distance from beach and boardwalk in Seaside Heights and there weren’t many options. It’s not the Ritz-Carlton. Rooms are very dated, broken outlets, vinyl baseboard repaired with staples, etc. Mild musty smell and mattresses not great.
All that said, it was clean, the staff super friendly, everything worked including good AC on a hot day. Family owned for decades apparently. Can see the ocean from the room, and literally the beach is across the street. It’s just one block south from the start of the boardwalk, so the location truly couldn’t be better. If you want an old-school small hotel right on the beach and near the boardwalk, this place is absolutely as good as it gets.
