I am very impressed with the care my son is receiving here. As long as you have the correct phone numbers you can always speak with someone. I always get return phone calls and the social worker, doctor and nurses don’t rush you off the phone. I am feeling grateful my son is safe here. We make appointments to go see him. The place is very clean and it’s a pretty new hospital. Thank you Essex County Hospital Center.

I had a really positive turn in my daughter mental heath at this location I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital and the staff the Doctors are amazing. Thank for all you do every day.

Definitely ghosts in the old building but the geniuses brought antiques from the old building, cleaned them and now they are on display in the new building. Now the new building is haunted. Every night on the women’s wing weird stuff happens. My first night there a woman was screaming at the nurses that she was not sleeping in her room because of the ghost. The nurses and patients told me that there were ghosts but I didn’t believe it until the next night when my heavy bathroom door slammed and my roommate and I were both in bed watching it. I had a few other things happen but I don’t feel it was malicious. I also was not drugged up when I was there. I was dealing with depression and only took one antidepressant pill a day and vitamins lol
