Felina Steak - Jersey City

We were visiting from California to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and after researching restaurants with unforgettable NYC skyline views, I chose Felina Steak—and it could not have been a more perfect decision. I wanted a dinner worthy of a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and Felina delivered in every category: the view, the food, the service, and the atmosphere all felt equally exceptional.

Before dinner, we enjoyed a drink at their elegant bar—my husband had a smooth, perfectly made Old Fashioned, and I had a beautifully balanced martini. Once seated, they placed us right by the window without us even requesting it, giving us a glowing panoramic view of Manhattan—and even the Statue of Liberty in the distance.

And here’s what surprised us most: as stunning as that skyline was, the food nearly outshined it. When a restaurant makes you pause mid-view to rave about the flavors on your plate, you know you’ve found something rare.

We started with three varieties of oysters, each one incredibly fresh. My husband ordered the filet, and I went with the Cowboy Ribeye, cooked exactly to temperature and rich with flavor. One of the unexpected highlights of the night was the side of shishito peppers with sea salt—blistered, simple, and unbelievably addictive. Dessert was decadent and the perfect finish to the meal.

Felina’s wine list was another win—they had Artemis by Stag’s Leap, one of our absolute favorite bottles, which made the night feel even more personal. And as a final touch, our server surprised us with complimentary limoncello to toast our 25 years together—a gesture that meant more than they probably realized.

Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely celebratory. They even offered to take photos of us with the skyline glowing behind us, which was the perfect keepsake for an anniversary we’ll never forget.

Felina Steak isn’t just a dinner—it’s a full experience. Swanky, elegant, romantic, and absolutely perfect for a celebration. The food and the view felt like they were in competition all night… and honestly, it was a photo finish.

Celebrated our anniversary here. The entire experience was amazing. We got dirty martini and felina Negroni, Caesar salad, and a half dozen oyster to start. Followed by cacio e Pepe and filet mignon. Finished the meal with espresso, tiramisu, a surprise berry cake and complimentary limoncello. Esteban and the staff provided exemplary service and went above and beyond to make our anniversary extra special. There was also a live band which completed the entire experience. Highly recommend!

We had dinner at Felina Steak in Jersey City and overall, the experience was great — with a few hiccups.

The food was fantastic! The pizza was outstanding, the meatballs were full of flavor, and the truffle fries were addicting. I ordered the filet mignon, which was a little overcooked (I asked for medium), but still very good. My husband ordered the pork chops, and he absolutely loved them — tender and perfectly seasoned.

Unfortunately, our server was not attentive. He never came back to check on us after dropping off our meals and even messed up our martinis.

The saving grace of the night was the manager, who was truly exceptional. He immediately made things right by comping our drinks, was incredibly professional, and even invited us upstairs to see the beautiful rooftop bar and lounge. He completely turned our experience around.

Despite the service issue, we’ll definitely be returning — the food, ambiance, and management made a great impression.

I took my mom here yesterday for her bday diner and we were seated and served by CARLOS. Carlos was the best waiter we ever had the pleasure to meet! Everyone ask for him! He made sure my child felt included as well as always being available to all of our needs. Heck he ever took a lobster for my son to touch and us to get a picture! Alsooo the food please Jesus delicious everything was insane then we received a tour of the rooftop by carlos to end the night just an amazing experience!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our son’s 21st birthday! The food, drinks were delicious. They also made his birthday very special by giving him his personalized menu. The staff was very friendly. The view of the city and the Statue of Liberty was beautiful.
