First time here. Enter from underneath the railroad tracks through a little tunnel that leads up hill to a bench and trial markers. Brough the dogs, wasn’t too familiar with the trails and got a little lost but still made it out alive. Saw a gentleman riding his bike. Quite & calm.

I love walking through the trails. It's so close by, the views are beautiful, and it's not crowded. There aren't usually many people there so good for during COVID or just for a relaxing walk. It also has mile markers and you can start on Harvey Street and end on Grand Ave or keep going and end up in Phillipsburg or even further.

Very nice set of trails for some easy hiking. Includes 1 main trail and 1 offshoot trail (Red blazes) that goes a bit up Upper Pohatcong Mountain. Main trail follows the old Morris Canal and includes a bridge, some streams, and some canal store ruins among other things.

FYI there are 3 parking areas: 1 at 938 Grand Ave, 1 at the end of Roosevelt Ave, and 1 near the end of Harvey St. The Grand Ave location has a large parking lot.
