Gorgeous park with clean river secluded in a mountainous wooded area. So peaceful. Definitely will visit during wormer seasons.

We had a wonderful time camping. Had to be diligent about looking for ticks, but thats most state parks. We will be back.

We camped here for a day. The scenery and people are nice. The park is separate from the camp when you’re driving. We were a little confused when getting there. But the bathroom is well maintained. The showers are not that great. The one I used didn’t have hot water for long. A shame. We didn’t see any bears but we did see a bunny.

Beautiful park with multiple loop trails, picnic areas right on the water
Highly recommend whether for just a nice picnic or if you want a good moderate hike.
We did one of the longer loops, all trails showed like 2 hours, took us 3 because some areas were a bit of a steep up angle so I needed to take some breaks.
We came in on a rainy day and were pleasantly surprised that the trail has almost no mud which was good
Bring bug spray! It is humid and bugs are just out for blood in some areas on the hike 😅
Don't skip getting your feet in the water at the end of it! It was delightful!
