I didn't get to see the doctor, just the nurse practitioner. She was wonderful! The only reason for my 2 star rating is that they would not prescribe the medicine I've been on for 3 years because of "cracking down on prescribing controlled substances". If I don't get my medication I will have seizures. I was told they couldn't even wean me off of it because my current dose was too high. By the way my current dose is a very common dose.
So basically I was screwed.
The APN -C was nice enough to prescribe me 10 days of my medication in order to get an appointment with my old doctor.
The only reason I changed doctors was because my new insurance didn't cover my old doctor. So now I hs have to pay $90 instead of $0 just to get my medication. Incredible.
