Guardian Recovery - Montville Adolescent Center

I can’t say enough positive things about about Montville Adolescent Treatment Center. My child was treated there twice and both times we were very pleased with their care. There was great communication on all levels from nursing staff and counselors too. The facility is comfortable and clean and tends to all a clients needs so that they may focus on the task of getting well. The program is well designed with the focus on not only therapy, but also education, exercise, and healthy eating. Additionally, fun rewarding activities are planned each week. What really stands out the most however, is that a year later, counselors still reach out to our family to check in. Their support, caring and commitment goes beyond the walls of Guardian.

From day one, the staff made him and us feel supported, understood, and encouraged. I am forever grateful 🙏 to the counselors who supported him along the way. This place gave me hope when I needed it the most . As my son had never been away from home , I was very anxious and hesitant to send him for inpatient but I wanted him to get the appropriate treatment in a safe place . I had searched exhaustively for a rehab for my 16 year old and this warm place felt just right . The care here is heartfelt and personal and the staff goes above and beyond . Recovery is a journey which needs ongoing commitment and support and the right place and people make a huge difference . Staff here is genuinely kind and understanding . The case manager Leni , his therapists , RAs and the nurses were always there for us every step of the way . Because of the love and compassion he received , my son was motivated to continue his treatment and move on to the next step . This place helped rebuild hope and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and truly caring place to heal .

Our daughter had a very positive experience at Montville. The facility was spotless, all the staff that we encountered (nurses, intake, case management, security) were friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and caring, and the therapists were great (Bob and Gabby). We were kept informed of her progress and any changes with medications. The schedule/structure was very helpful, as were the activities and group therapy, and necessary to facilitate the beginning of her recovery process. Not that anyone wants their child to end up in a place like this but if you have to choose a residential rehab/mental health treatment center we recommend Guardian Recovery - Montville Adolescent Center.
