2 stars for the two waitresses who served us. They were nice and attentive, so one star for each of them. I am huge on cross contamination. The lady's touch money, the register, then grab your plate of food. The lady who's been there 20 plus years even mentioned she isn't use to cleaning her hands before touching the food. I see it as if you were to lay a few dollar bills out of somones pocket on my plate then place my eggs and pancakes on top. Then you serve me. Same bacteria from money to plate. Speaking of eggs, my food is bland. I didn't give any star off for that. We all have different taste buds, so I don't take off points for that. Taste is a preference within reason

Iron Skillet quickly became one of those rare places that feels dependable, comforting, and worth returning to again and again. The moment I tried their chicken sandwich, I found something special. I visited for lunch nearly a week in a row because every visit felt just as satisfying as the first.

I ordered the chicken sandwich with tater tots, and it stood out as one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had (yes, you’ve read that correctly). The chicken was flavorful and perfectly prepared, and the tater tots arrived with that ideal crisp every time. A simple touch of salt and pepper brought everything together.

If you have preferences for how you like your food, request it kindly and clearly. They listen, and they honor it. I once asked for extra sauce even after my sandwich had already been served, and they brought it out quickly and prepared it exactly how I like it. After visiting so consistently, the waitress even anticipated my order, and that small gesture made me feel genuinely appreciated.

The service carries a refreshing balance of efficiency and warmth. The staff gets your order started right away while remaining attentive and gracious. My food arrived fresh in about ten minutes, and the experience was always respectful.

Iron Skillet operates with a lean team and steady focus. If staff is preoccupied when you enter, rest assured they will be with you momentarily. Patience and kindness go a long way, especially because the food industry asks so much of the people who choose to serve in it. In spite of the workload, they continued to offer quality food.

Parking requires more awareness as it is located near a truck wash called Blue Beacon. Approaching slowly and navigating with care keeps everyone safe.

Iron Skillet impressed me with their food, their effort, and their hospitality. This place treated me like a loyal customer from day one and that’s what kept me coming back.

Whenever I’m back in town, I plan to revisit.

Great attentive waitstaff but food here was underwhelming. The atmosphere was cool with some really cool wall art and decorations.
