Just saw Dr. Stone today, first time seeing a specialist outside of skin and eye. Absolutely amazing experience. Quick to call me in, Tracy was wonderful, Dr. Stone absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable, didn't rush, took time to address history, labs, etc. Not a pill pusher, advocates lifestyle changes before meds. If you need a great heart doctor, definitely go see Dr. Stone and his team, you'll be in great hands!
Dr. Stone is the best of any doctor I've ever seen...in any specialty. He is patient...kind and the best in his field.
He always takes time to answer every question I have without ever being rushed.
I recommend him highly!
Dr Stone is superb! He found large hole in my heart after a stroke, sent me to Newark Beth Israel who were fantastic. This was 2018.
Fast forward to about two years ago office started changing, not him, I was sent home with heart monitor for 24 hours, after going twice to obtain it as apps hours were screwed up. I get call the day after I returned it that it was broke and had to be done again. Now I live in Galloway and stayed only because of Dr Stone.
So new test is done 2 days later I get call it looked good, OK.
6 months later I return to a NP she says think we need to do monitor, I said again had one done 6 months ago, oh no you didn't, so as I sat for 40 minutes they tried to locate the test and results, never found them. So at this point I'm like having irregular heart beat feeling. So they schedule a echo cardiogram. The test is done and I get call they'd like me in to review it, no appointments for 3 months, seriously.
The next day I found great cardiologist in my Galloway area, got appt in 3 days when I explained issues.
Now nightmare getting my records and I had a lot, signed a release and asked it to be faxed, oh we can only send summaries of your last two visits by fax because it violates HIPA, WELL ARENT YOU VIOLATING IT BY SENDING TWO, HOW DOES SENDING ALL VIOLATE IT MORE! So now I'm told to drive up to get the records electronically because they didn't want to make so many copies! So I drove up got my records, what's missing my echo cardiogram, again I have to go back for those results and a disc.
Pained me so much to leave Stone, great doctor, great person had fabulous repore but his surrounding support staff need to get their act together!
Just got a voice mail from Wendy at Dr. Stone's office telling me my (TTE) was fine. Went for my test on Friday and already got a call Monday. So professional and I feel they truly care about their patients! Thank you Wendy and Dr. Stone for your compassion. I recommend this office highly.
I have always been happy with Dr Stone. That is until I called for an appointment. I have one scheduled in about two months. But I've been having some problems with shortness of breath. So of course I called my doctor. A woman got back to me in a little while and told me emphatically that she could not give me or anyone else an appointment any sooner. By the way she didn't even ask what my problem was. When I pointed that out to her she condescendingly asked okay what's your emergency. I was so aggravated I just freaked out and said I'd find another doctor.
So if you need a doctor in a hurry think twice about these rude individuals.
