Dr. Bernstein was absolutely AMAZING with our teenage daughter when she broke her wrist playing soccer and we wanted to share our experience with others! Her bedside manner is just wonderful, she takes all the time you need at each visit to answer any and all questions, and she is SO knowledgeable in her field. She answered every question in detail and with complete honesty. Having two 3 sport athletes in our home, we have seen quite a few orthopedic doctors over the years. Dr. Bernstein will be our only stop if we need it going forward (knock on wood).

Dr.Bernstein is amazing. She has the best personality and my kids absolutely love her, they do not even realize they are getting medical treatment because they love her visits so much. Great care, so knowledgeable and the staff is amazing and kind also.

Dr. Jessica Bernstein is absolutely AMAZING and just a great person! She handled my 6 years old broken elbow in such a beautiful way. My daughter on 7/4/2025 in a park playing on monkey bars fell and broke her elbow. I called her pediatrician he said to put icy hot and wrap it up and take her to him on 7/5/2025. In the mean while she developed a slight fever so I called her pediatrician once again and he said to take her to urgent care nearest to our home. Thankfully the fever was not due to the injury she was positive with throat infection. In urgent care they performed xrays on my daugter elbow and after a few minutes came to tell me it was broken. They put on a sling on her and told me to see on 7/7/2025 a bone doctor so it can be placed in a cast. I asked for her results of all that was done in the office plus a list of bone doctors. Once I left there with my child went to the pharmacy to get her medication went home to put away the stuff pharmacy gave me for her and gave her the first dose and picked up her 2 older brothers and went straight to Childrens Hackensack Hospital Emergency room. Where my child was attended very nice and a very smooth way. Once we went through the front desk process and her virals were taken she was put in a room. The nurse attending this night was very nice and attended my little one so nice after that a doctor came spoke to me and took us to due xrays on my child and about 30 minutes later that same doctor said that the elbow was broken but that the good news was that the bone doctor was on duty. Dr. Bernstain assistance was on duty that night which came in spoke to me and answered all my questions put a soft cast on my child and said she needed to wait for the surgeon doctor to get back to her and let her know if my daughter would need surgery or she was going home. After like 2 hours and a half the doctor came back and said that the surgeon said she can go home explained all I need to due in details to help the healing process. On 7/5/2025 I took her to her pediatrician like recomended by the hospital he said all looks good just see the bone doctor as directed by the hospital. On7/7/2025 I called the office and made tha appointment in the morning for 7/11/2025 in the morning with Dr. Bernstein. As we walked in they treated us so nice told me to fill out the paperwork took the insurance card and not even 10 minutes later took us in the room. Where a nurse came to take my daughters soft cast off. She explained that they will take xrays so the doctor can see the progress from the day we were in the hospital. Like 2 minutes after the nurse left the xray lady came in and took us to the xray room to perform xrays on my daughter. Not even 10 minutes later we met Dr. Jessica Bernstein who came with grate news after so many bad ones. Dr. Bernstein told me that the bone is in same position there will be no surgery just a hard cast for a few weeks. She her treated my child so perfectly and beautifully! She was kind, empathetic and patient of treating the injury so that it can heal the proper way! She created a personalized plan of action to ensure proper and swift healing of my child's elbow. She was attentive understanding on everything! I can not thank Dr. Bernstein enough for all she has done for my child and myself, as a worried Mom not likeing to see my child in pain. The office staff was extremely patient and helpful and created such a welcoming environment as well! Dr. BERNSTEIN treats your child not just as a patient but like if it was her own family member. Our case was a very special one which if I write here I would need like 4 pages to describe Dr. Bernstein. All I can say that we were put that day in the hospital in the right hands by God and by God were taken by this wonderful person who I know my daughter is in perfect hands. There are no words to explain Dr. Bernstein just that you're the best!!! May God always Bless you and give you knowladge to continue this journey as a great doctor and human that you are. Dr Bernstein is absolutely AMAZING! She handled my very active and athletic child's broken elbow and all her nervousness surrounding the injury and healing process and getting "back to normal" so perfectly! She was kind, empathetic and exuded such knowledge and confidence in the ability of treating the injury to heal perfectly, and she delivered on those promises!! She didn't push to perform any unnecessary or invasive steps or procedures and took intense observation and created a personalized plan of action to ensure proper and swift healing according to my child's progess specifically. She was attentive and on point with everything! I can not thank Dr. Bernstein enough for all she has done for my child and myself, as a worried Mamma hating to see her child in pain and nothing I could do except put her in such amazing hands as Dr. Bernstein's! The staff in the office is also just as amazing! They were always friendly, there were no wait times at appointments and all my questions were answered promptly and with knowledge and eagerness to assist. They too were extremely kind, patient and helpful and created such a welcoming environment! The entire team at Dr. Joffe and associates are truly spectacular and I am so very grateful to all of them! Thank you all for all your help in treating my "baby" (14yo)! Dr Bernstein, you're the best!!!

We were so lucky to have Dr. Bernstein on call. My 18 month old needed unexpected knee surgery and Dr. Bernstein was truly amazing. She gave us so much time, attention and was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. We knew we were in good hands and after surgery her follow up was wonderful. She has such a lovely demeanor and is a pleasure for the adults and the children.
