Great professionals! Not only did Julia make sure the fix was under warranty and the fix works, she also charged up the car and had it washed. She was also so pleasant to work with. Thank you very much! I would not trust anyone else but this crew to work on my Equinox EV.
I scheduled an appointment through the GM app with Lester Glen Freehold for early September 2025, as no earlier slots were available.
However, without any prior notification, the dealership canceled my appointment. When I arrived that day, I was informed that no appointment existed. The staff claimed they had tried to contact me, but I never received any call, text, or email, even though both my phone number and email address were on file.
They then rescheduled my appointment for the following week, but upon bringing in my vehicle, I was told that the EV engineer was not available and that I would need to leave my car for diagnosis. It took them three days to complete the diagnosis, only for me to find out that the required part was on backorder.
Additionally, I had requested a courtesy drop-off and made it clear that I had to start work shortly after dropping the car off at 7 AM. Despite this, I was made to wait 75 minutes before being given a ride home. The department manager was rude and unapologetic, which made the situation even more frustrating.
When the required part finally arrived, no one from the dealership contacted me. I had to personally follow up multiple times to learn that the part was already in stock.
Overall, this has been a stressful and disappointing experience. I chose this dealership because I had previously purchased another vehicle from one of your other locations and expected the same level of professionalism and reliability—but unfortunately, that was not the case.
I sincerely hope the service department improves communication, respects customers’ time, and ensures that staff members are more courteous and accountable in their interactions.
So far has been a great dealership. Buying my Colorado was fair deal. The CPO service included is a great benefit. Two services in a year and no charge. Let’s hope it continues when I replace my wife’s vehicle.
We brought our Equinox EV in for a maintenance check and Doug took care of us. He was wonderful. Very professional and he explained everything clearly. We waited for the car to be serviced in the waiting area, which was very comfortable and clean, and we had a cup of coffee. Everyone we spoke to during our service, Cat at reception and Julia in service as well as Doug, were warm and helpful. Thank you. Wendy B.
