LBI is a beautiful place! The venue was nice!
Attended yoga there. Very relaxing. We also did the nature hike around the foundation. Spectacular. They have a hut where you can see the nesting birds. Bring binoculars to get a close up view. The marsh holds many crabs and fish - all trying to eat/hide from each other. There were no green heads so the hike was very pleasant. Perfect for kids all ages.
Tennis... joined The Foundation for the tennis, but I’m staying for the friendships and everything else it has to offer. The tennis is top-notch, all within a warm and welcoming environment. I was naturally included in as many matches as I wanted—there’s always an opportunity to play. The pickleball scene is vibrant and full of energy, and the easy access to a fantastic pro for both tennis and pickleball makes it even better. If you’re into racquet sports, this is the place to be.
I had a great time, lots of areas to take in the surrounding nature and artwork. I enjoyed the trail off by the tennis courts the most. Just watch for posion ivy.
We can not imagine having our wedding any where else. Guests are still raving about how beautiful the space was, amazing the view was for cocktail hour, and how extremely unique it all was. LBIF is a canvas that we were able to paint into the perfect wedding day, that is just one of the many things that makes it so perfect for your LBI wedding. The space is so unique and the possibilities are endless. Not only was the space amazing, but the staff of LBIF was top notch. Lydia helped us so much with planning and recommendations that helped make our wedding so perfect. She was always there to help and answer any/all questions, solve any small or large bridal breakdown, and resolve any last minute hiccups that were thrown our way. And our vendors are still reaching out to us saying how amazing she was to work with. If you are looking for a unique space on the jersey shore LBIF is the spot for you. My husband and I look forward to attending more events at the foundation and being part of the wonderfully friendly LBIF community.
