Mountain House Tavern and Grill

We have been patronizing Mountain House for a few years. This restaurant has been consistent in providing quality food, attentive and cheerful service and for having an inviting atmosphere.

Last evening was no different. We ordered southwestern rolls, cuban sandwich and chilli. All the dishes were tasty. We were admiring the holiday decorations and the beautiful Christmas tree. We felt like we were in a friends country home. Thanks Mountain House for another wonderful dining experience. See you in the New Year.

This place was a diamond in the rough. What a great find. My wife wanted to sit outside by a lake and eat comfort food and Mountain House Tavern and Grill did not disappoint. And, major added plus, service was great and our server, Alicia, was exceptional on a busy Saturday night. Oh, and dog friendly with a Pup Food menu.

We've been here a few times for lunch, and this place never disappoints! Great food, great service, superb atmosphere. Live music, and dog friendly. Nice view of the lake, the outdoor patio is a perfect place to just chill with a drink.

We stopped here for lunch on the motorcylces. We all sat at the bar and ordered lunch ... but we had to get by the cutest little bulldog (?) puppy first! She was a hit with all of the patrons! The place was very clean and I believe it was the owner or a manager walking around making sure everyone had what they needed ... she was really friendly. We ordered the Cheesy Short Rib Fries to start and they were so yummy! I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and my husband had the Steak Tacos for our main meal. Everything was delicious!!! The drinks were poured perfectly and the bartender was on point! No complaints about this stop ... hoping to get back there if we ever ride through NJ in the future!
