Calamari appi was excellent. The sauce was real crushed tomatoes to enhance the perfect calamari. However, we ordered the seafood pasta special which was very disappointing. When tasting the pasta special with scallops and shrimp, it would have been worth the $38 price if they at least salted the pasta water. I ended up using the whole bowl of parm cheese to spruce up both our meals. We hadn't been there in a while and was hoping for a great meal. No salad came with it. Lettuce is cheap and it would have been nice to include it. With a bottle of their cheapest wine at 55, our bill was 200 with tip.

No-no! Inattentive, poor service. Food was average definitely not worth what they charge for it. Average food with high-end prices for the area. The two chicken dishes we ordeed were both overcooked see photo of dried chicken. Portions were good, of course when the entrees are overcooked it doesn't matter much. Wouldn't come back.

What a hidden gem of amazing Italian food! We shared the stuffed artichoke, crab stuffed mushrooms, spiedini and salads. Absolutely delicious! Our entrees included lobster ravioli, linguine with clams, osso buco and a chicken special stuffed with spinach and shrimp. Everything was delicious and the service was great! The owner really makes sure you are enjoying your meal! Highly recommend!

What else can I say, Amazing! It's been a really long time since I've truly had a great Italian meal. I'm originally from the Passaic/Bergen county area, and there were outstanding Italian restaurants minutes away in any town. Unfortunately, that's not the case in this area. Nonno's really nails it! They have spiedini alla romana, I haven't seen this on a menu in over 20 years. If you know, you know, if not, a must try. I can go on about the different dishes forever. There was nothing that I tried that was bad. A truly OMG moment. Atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and meals all A+++. A definite must try.

This place was a hidden gem 💎 we found by searching short ribs.
It's an amazing place full of attention and very respectful staff. I'm pretty sure the owner was our waiter, and he spoke with such confidence about each dish he suggested.
I'm can't decide what I liked most, the appetizers (stuffed mushrooms & stuffed artichoke), main course (short ribs & cavetilli and broccoli) or delicious desert (1/2 tres leches 1/2 tiramisu).
Everything was delicious, and the presentations of the dishes were beautiful.
This is a must try in my book, and we will certainly be back. 👍
