I’m so happy I found this amazing store Pete’s Bird Garden! I was extremely satisfied with my visit. The prices are fantastic — the lowest I’ve seen in all of New York and New Jersey, especially for birds and parrots.
The store owner was very kind and gave me a lot of helpful advice on how to care for my birds. I bought two canaries and one parrot, and he even gave me a great discount. On top of that, he gifted me a couple of toys for the birds — such a nice gesture!
The store has a huge variety of birds and parrots in different colors. You can tell they are well taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for healthy and beautiful birds at great prices!

Pete is a very pleasant and polite owner of this business. As soon as I stepped into his store, his absolutely delightful feathery friends welcomed us with their chirping and whistling. So many different types of birds! Pete has owned the business for over 40 years! I mean, if that doesn't convince you that this man is trustworthy then I don't know what else. The store was simple, nothing aesthetic about it. However, Pete's expertise is what impresses you. Pete was approachable, attentive, and eager to share his knowledge and suggestions. I also was able to look around, peruse, until I was ready! It was as if Pete was letting the birds introduce themselves to me and my family! We walked out with two parakeets, a bird cage, bird food, and other accessories. (Pete only sells fresh food, by the pound.)
Pete also will trim the birds beak, wings and nails if you need that type of service.
