Popolari - Bloomfield

Popolari was recommended by an acquaintance as having excellent food, and it did not disappoint. We went for a small birthday celebration and felt like we were walking into a favorite neighborhood restaurant fron our childhood. The classic Italian posters and decor feel cozy and inviting. Carina, our server was warm and welcoming. I have some mobility issues and she could not have been more kind and accommodating. The Caesar salad and veal milanese were excellent, and the pasta perfectly al dente. The gnocchi with pistacchio basil pesto was unbelievable. The portions are large and we brought home some of everything, delighted and looking forward to having it again. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality excellent. Best, the finale was when we asked about dessert to celebrate a birthday. We were surprised by a slice of flour less chocolate cake (to die for) with a sparkler and Carina and the owner singing. The evening could not have been nicer. I cannot recommend Poplari enough, and I can't wait to go back.

I loved this place! The ambient is great, the food is delicious, and the service is fantastic! Carina took care of us and she was utterly amazing! Very attentive and warm! We felt so welcomed, that we ended up staying there for hours! I can’t wait to come back. Carina is the best!!

I came in for dinner and was blown away by how good everything was. The spicy vodka with breaded chicken was incredible. Easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time.

Our server, Kiera, made the night even better. She was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. You can tell she really cares about making sure guests enjoy their meal.

Highly recommend Popolari if you’re looking for amazing Italian food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely loved everything single thing about this place. It feels so aesthetic as well as authentic. I am extremely grateful to our server of the night her name was Karina. She was wonderful and so helpful. She kept checking up with us and made sure everything was to our liking. Not once did anyone in my table feel rushed or pressured she made everyone so comfortable with her amazing demeanor and kindness. All the food was amazing words can’t describe. I had the mushroom pasta 100/10, it definitely tasted like nothing I have had before it was so delicious. I will 100% recommend this place to any and everyone.

We had a wonderful experience tonight, all thanks to our amazing waitress, Carina. She was incredibly sweet and very attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed. I had the grilled branzino with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was amazing!! What truly made the night special was when she surprised my partner with a dessert for his birthday, complete with a sparkling candle. That thoughtful touch really made the celebration memorable.
