Ready Set Van

This review covers our first year of an incredible Ready.Set.Van experience. The designers and builders at Ready.Set.Van are nothing short of genius. After a year of travel...all components (frig, Webasto heater, AC, hot water heater, cell booster, induction stove, microwave, roof fan, pumps, etc.) are working perfectly! We chose the mid-range option for batteries/solar and have never dropped below 60%. We rarely use shore power. The VictronConnect app is awesome for managing power usage. The AC and DC outlets and all switches are so well-positioned for ease of use. The lighting is brilliant, perfectly placed and super energy efficient. The water pressure is excellent. Filling the water tank and emptying the gray water is very easy.

Every space is purposed...from overhead cabinets and kick drawers to the "garage" space under the bed where we keep two bicycles and all the rest of our gear. We have plenty of storage for food, dishes/cookware, clothing,...and more. We opted for the outside cooking platform/extra portable induction unit to fry fish outside of the van. Love it!

The bug screening is so effective, we rarely get insects inside. The block-out shades are great for privacy at night. The mattress is super comfortable! The Trelino separating potty works very well.

The Ram Promaster is an great vehicle with decent gas mileage. The Ready.Set.Van instruction manual is excellent, and the 2 times we called with a specific question, we got immediate answers.

The beautiful workmanship...wood table, countertop, flooring, cabinets...adds a sparkle to living the van life. Our first 8,000 miles have been amazing. A camper van takes you to places off the beaten track where nature surrounds you with magic.

Great company, great experience, great van! The Ready Set Van folks were kind and helpful every step of the way. They helped us find the specific options that fit our needs and even helped us find a dealership to order the exact van we wanted.

Their layout and interior designs were exactly what we were looking for. Everything we wanted, nothing we didn't. The final product is our dream camper. (We have been known to simply take a nap in it in our own driveway!)

They are friendly, professional, talented, accommodating, energetic and super passionate about their jobs. The owner, Ben, is always around, easily accessible and involved in the process. Their work is top quality. The finishes are beautiful. They will strive to accommodate your needs and wants. We picked up our van “Rosie” over a year ago now and have zero regrets. It’s the best decision I’ve have made in a long time.

We took our first cross-country trip recently and it was awesome. We had so much freedom. Plenty of storage (more than we actually need). We saved money by occasionally “boon-docking” for free as we don’t require hookups. I actually prefer our bed over many hotels. We are so comfortable in our home on wheels. I thought I needed a big and fancy RV to be happy and boy was I wrong!

So if you’re wanting to live the van life - do it! Let Ready.Set.Van make it happen. The product you get is worth every last penny.

After retiring we decided we wanted to travel the USA to see the parks and beauty of our country. We found Ready Set Van had the build specifications we were looking for. After meeting with RSV, we knew this was the company we wanted to work with. The van is exactly what we were hoping for and their customer service was outstanding! We highly recommend RSV who have great craftsmanship and innovation!

I did my due diligence on vans and van builders nationwide. I can tell you today (about a month after having my van) that I'm so happy that I decided to use RSV. They exceeded all of my expectations in every category. When you have skilled, knowledgeable, happy and passionate individuals that work together as one professional team you can't help but have a pleasurable as well as memorable experience every step of the way. Every twist and turn, unforeseen last-minute adjustments or add ons is just part of the process in the creation of your dreams. A small part of me misses it.

The crew at RSV helps you work through your ideas, finds creative solutions all the while being realistic and honest about costs. I went to their shop a handful of times during the 5 month build out and there were about 15 other vans in various stages so I know I couldn't possibly be their only customer, but that's the way they made me feel. I was grateful for that kind of attention with such a significant investment. They have an efficient process that overlaps as you move through the build. I started with Chris who kept my feet on the ground as my head spun out with every possible want while explaining in great depth the pros and cons of all the choices. Then it was on to Christine who kept me up to date with regular emails, text and pics during the progress from idea to reality. Once the build is finished, I now have the pleasure of having Alex in my corner as my point of contact and support. He can fix almost anything over the phone (except finding my misplaced keys) and will walk you through any problems you might be experiencing. Ben was also there every time I stopped by including Friday at 8 PM when I picked up my van. To all the crew at RSV I'm truly grateful for all you do and glad to have gotten to know most of you. Thank you for your help and the passion for what you do. A special thanks the 5-6 guys and girls that I met while spending a few hours just watching the process in the shop. For them to stop whatever they were working on at the time to answer my questions and explain things to me speaks volumes about the company's philosophy and the quality personnel that work there.
