Sensation nails & spa

My nails are always neatly done and cleaned well. They are very delicate with my cuticles. The place is clean and conveniently located.

I have been going here on and off for the last 2 years. The salon is in a nice location but they keep changing owners so you never really know what you're going to get. I decided to give them a try for a new set with gel.
There were a lot of things that happened that I thought were red flags. First, my nails were burning more than I have ever experienced when getting a new set. The manager seemed to find this amusing. I don't really appreciate the lack of empathy when I'm paying for a service.
Then I asked how much it would cost to get a french manicure. I was told $10 extra and somehow adding a glitter accent on each nail added an extra $10 to an already very high price. I spent $120 for this new set and realized when I got home that I can see brush lines on every single nail. Very disappointing. Never going back for a fill.

I have been here with previous owners now several times with new ones. I love them. I got gel with ombre, and Michelle did a fabulous job, she was so sweet! I was concerned since it was getting late and she and Kelly assured me it was no problem. She didn't rush , in fact she said ..she wanted to make them look very nice she clearly takes pride in what she does ( AND SHE DID). MY old tips were growing out so I really needed replacement , - my fault I waited too long and should have gotten fill ins ; which I will be doing in two weeks. Great pedicure also, and I did spend for extra massage from Sunny ( WORTH IT) . I will be a regular !
