Sergey Terushkin, M.D.

First saw Dr. Terushkin in the hospital. He explained everything and answered my questions and put me at ease. After I was discharged I had a followup appointment at his office. He, his Physician's Assistant and staff were wonderful; it was as if I've known them a long time. They were thorough, extremely helpful, and very considerate. I'm very thankful for Dr. Terushkin and his staff and their help.

Their knowledge, professionalism, and compassionate approach truly stood out.Receptionist and Practice Manager Tatyana was very attentive, very short waiting time and Dr Terushkin and his nurse were very kind, they answered all my questions and concerns. I left this place feeling I made the right choice when my insurance gave me a list of doctors and not knowing what to expect.

I had my Gastric sleeve done on 8/2025 Dr. Terushkin, Sergey was my surgeon since day 1 he has been on point answered all my questions from consultation until day of surgery I couldn't ask for a better surgeon. I highly recommend him my recovery was great no complications I still look forward to my follow ups with him. Staff at Old bridge medical hospital office are very professional and kind.

Dr. Terushkin is the greatest doctor ever he saved my life I can’t thank him enough! He arrived very fast at hospital not long after the ER Dr called him due to my medical emergency! 07/23/25 I had a Twisted bowel.(Cecal volvulus) n appendix needed to be removed.

I went into the ER Old Bridge Medical Center with bad stomach cramps. Thinking the pains were from a granola bar I had ate hours earlier. I almost went home to lay down but my instinct sent me the ER route.
Thank goodness I went to get checked out.

After CT scan I thought I would be going home afterwards then ER Dr told me I need Emergency Surgery he’s calling the surgeon. The nurses started rushing me to OR

I was so scared being rushed from the ER directly to the OR and then I met Dr. he was right where he needed to be in a flash standing next to me talking to me on the OR floor and ready to help me! At almost 12 midnight I believe it was..
With a very calm voice letting me know he had to cut me. So I knew what to expect once I woke up from anesthesia.
He let me know that
before they brought me to the OR room. I so appreciate him preparing me beforehand.i knew what to expect.

As I woke up to 23 staples in my stomach yes, I counted them. I’m healing nicely!
Dr. Has a fantastic bedside manner! He even came to see me the next day to check in on me. So nice!
He deserves more the five stars! He is an awesome Dr. I’m going to recommend him to anyone in need! The hospital staff were all very good to me.
His staff is wonderful!

I went into his office the other day to get my staples removed Dr. was standing by front desk when I walked in the door and he even waved hello to me that was so nice!
