Dr. Holmes is an amazing doctor! The kind of doctor that takes the time to know you ask the right questions and addresses all your concerns. He makes you feel heard and important. He reminded me the importance of a colonoscopy as preventative medicine and wanted to know if I had any other questions but didn’t pressure me to schedule it. He followed up on the next visit and I knew he was the doctor I was going to do it with and scheduled it. The office is friendly and helpful and work to get you in. They call you back. I was recommended by my primary care provider, Timolyne Skinner to see him because he was one of the best and she was right. They are both part of HMH Network-outstanding team of providers and support staff. Dr. Holmes and his team are 5 stars across the board!

My very first visit with Dr. Holmes was phenomenal, thorough, and completely comfortable. He explained the surgery process well in addition to the recovery process. My wife carefully and thoroughly reviewed ratings and comments concerning the level of knowledge, expertise, and compassion from patients under his care. I had a colon resection pre-empting radiation treatments for prostrate cancer. Both needed to happen ASAP. Dr Holmes consulted with my oncologist and both agreed on the order of the events that followed. Dr Holmes set up my colon surgery in short order at Bayshore hospital which is nearer to my home. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I'm 74 years old and I have CHF which complicates a surgery. Dr Holmes specializes in seniors over 65 and is an excellent communicator as well as a highly regarded gastro-surgeon. My surgery was a complete success and my recovery was fast and happened exactly as Dr Holmes described. I cannot stress strongly enough how much I recommend Dr Nathaniel Holmes. If you are a senior and in need of a gastro procedure you cannot find a better choice for your surgery.
