Took my toddler to this park for forst time, welive within walking distance in the neighborhood. Dont let the outdated photos fool you. This park had gone downhill. There are ZERO basketball hoops as they were all taken down. Trash all over the place. Graffiti. Broken glass throughout the parking lot and the playground. Playground looks like it's from last decade. SMH. Baseball field looks fine. This is the only park in the area besides catus island. Gave two stars because there was a porter john. Get with it toms river parks and rec.

This park got a reputation from the 80s and 90s as a place where kids go to get into trouble and do drugs. I visited it with friends to get exercise a few months back and it did not have that lifeless feeling anymore. They fixed it up and made it look and feel welcoming. Leave at dusk when the park closes.

Nice area for Soccer, Baseball, and Basketball. Would be nice if the playground was a little bigger, and didn't have spray paint/graffiti all over it. I hear they're revamping the area and adding a spray park, so it will be nice to see how that pans out.

I give this park a low rating because i like a park with walking paths or trails. This doesnt have that. There are a couple of basketball courts, a small playground, a baseball field and some woods that are kind of littered with trash that teenagers would leave around. There are much nicer parks nearby.
