Soumen Samaddar, MD

I started seeing Dr. Samaddar several years ago. Prior to seeing him I had reached a point of being frustrated and fed up with the poor quality of medicine that sadly seems to have become the new standard of care. After my first appointment I felt encouraged like I had actually found a doctor who enjoyed practicing medicine and wasn’t brushing me off. A little while later I encouraged my husband to start seeing him and he too found he had a positive experience with Dr. Samaddar. Now we bring our teenage daughter to see him and she is very comfortable with him and likes him a lot. She feels he listens to her and he doesn’t amp up her anxiety. Dr. Samaddar is knowledgeable and a truly excellent GP. He is kind, compassionate, and listens to what we have to say. He is easy to talk to and doesn’t brush our concerns off. I am very grateful to have found him to be our family doctor.

On occasion I have also seen Dr. Kakarla. I appreciate her getting me in recently when Dr. Samaddar was not available. She is knowledgeable as well. She is caring and direct. She listens to the concerns presented, and I would have no problem seeing her when needed.

The nursing staff are professional and take the time to listen and to understand the history and concerns.

Lastly, but certainly not least, is the front desk staff. They are the nicest and most helpful receptionist I have ever met. They are pleasant, attentive, helpful, patient, and thorough. Receptionists do a difficult job and often times don’t get the credit they deserve. Rachel is always pleasant, helpful and personable. Receptionists are the first people we meet when going to a drs office and can set the tone from the beginning. The front desk staff here are wonderful and definitely set a positive tone.

This review is long overdue. Dr. Samaddar has been my doctor for over 15... maybe 20ish years now? He is very attentive and has a great sense of humor. Of course people see doctors when they are not at their best... he always tells me things straight to the point what the deal is, but with "good bedside manner." I would highly recommend Dr. Samaddar if you want to be well cared for.

He is amazing as a doctor in every way. He takes time to figure out your health issues and is thorough in helping to to find the right steps to bring you to healing. He has helped me to overcome many health challenges and continues to help me manage others. He refers you to qualified specialists and generally cares for your well being and that you are making the best choices for your health care, etc. I highly recommend you seek out Dr. Samadaar for your general physician needs. The office staff and nurses, etc. are efficient and friendly. I have been going to this practice for ten years.
