I understand that Starfish is renting the pool at esporta and many things can be out of their control. However, maybe they should look into moving to another location as the heater for the pool in esporta does not always work and there were lessons where my kids were refusing to participate or crying because it was too cold. Yet these classes are not always properly cancelled to be given a makeup or credit. The management at esporta also makes ridiculous demands, like telling us we can't use the locker room to change our kids and we have to use these portable pods that are always collapsing and tiny with no room to maneuver. (We don't care to follow this demand and change in the locker room anyway).
Also the management of the Starfish company itself is not the friendliest and can take an obscene amount of time to settle any sort of dispute regarding cancelled classes and credit that needs to be issued. Our swim instructor is friendly and our kids like her and trust her, but a few times we would arrive without any warning that our class was cancelled. It's difficult to prepare small kids for any kind of outing, so it's highly inconsiderate for management to not to give us any warning, especially in form of a CALL to cancel our classes. I don't think I want our kids to return as I don't think we are treated as valuable customers, there's a lack of consistency, and the location gives us too much headache.
