Friendly employees at the nature center, clean a/c bathrooms, a few fish tanks and much more. Ample parking lot across the road from the center. It is a convenient starting point to explore trails and boardwalk around South Cove. Beautiful views of Manhattan, Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty.
Friendly staff and very clean space. Super well maintained. Next to beautiful open green space at liberty state park. Awesome, screen free kid’s room with plenty of books, toys, and puzzles for all ages. Can’t wait for night show to reopen. Love those. I brought my 13 month old here and she was comfortable walking around. What a gem! Would love to participate in some of their planned activities like nature walk someday.
Located right in the middle of the park. I have to admit years of going and I never stopped in. It's pretty cool and adjacent to a secluded walking path. Stop in for some very interesting information on the area.
Awesome nature center in the middle of Liberty State Park. Building by famous architect Michael Graves (1934-2015), beautifully restored with beautiful and informative exhibits. Located amid great wetland surroundings with lovely trails.
