It took too long; I thought I wouldn’t have lunch at work. They do follow directions, and the sandwich is tasty. It could use some more vinegar, but other than that, no complaints. I love the shake, but I'm mad that I lost half my lunchtime waiting to eat, and I paid for priority delivery. I feel somewhat taken advantage of in that regard.
Additionally, it's not worth the high price; it's just a basic sandwich. I have had more stuffed sandwiches for less. They got a big ego cuz they are in Livingston. Not nasty, but not amazing; go out of your way for it.
If happiness were a sandwich, it’d be from Tony Boys.
I worked at the Meat House in Summit, so I don’t toss around “5 star sandwiches” lightly. But Tony Boys doesn’t serve good sandwiches — they serve great ones. These things are massive and addictive. The chipotle mayo is spicy, the mozzarella is fresh, and the lettuce is crispy.
My go-to: grilled chicken, fresh mozz, roasted red peppers, onions, lettuce, and that glorious chipotle mayo on a hero. Every bite is like a standing ovation for your taste buds.
I live in Chicago now but I crave this place every time I’m in the area. Plus, the staff is always super nice.
Recently bought 2 family meals for my husband's birthday with about 7 adults and 5 kids. The drunken chicken was a hit and a great amount of food that we shockingly had leftovers everyone wanted to take home! Told everyone I know and work with what a great value it was. Nice guy at the register brought the food out to my car too and it was piping hot. Easy to order online. Easy pick up on my way home from work. I've loved everything we've ordered before, sandwiches are unbelievable. Dont even hesitate and order now!
I hate to write this review. Gave this spot a 3.8 rating. I was honestly looking forward to raving about this place. I was looking for something healthier and this spot was close by. Ordered two Shrek wraps and added chicken ($36). Super pricey, but hey.. thought it would be worth it. At first glance the wraps were huge. It could easily last two days. The sandwich was sadly a complete wet mess with no flavor whatsoever. Extremely bland and so watery. The burrito was so soggy, it completely fell apart. Had to use a fork and a knife. The last half was a disaster tried to add seasoning, but it was no help. Pretty much threw the rest away. It was just so soupy. This visit was a complete fail.
Now, I can't speak for other items on the menu, but if they are similar to this one, I won't be back. Sadly a horrible first experience.
The place overall seemed cool and the staff were friendly. I'm sure there's plenty to like.
The Rock Star was the kid behind the counter managing the orders at the front of the counter. Phones ringing, people placing orders, door dash pick ups. He was an all star in my opinion. The cheesesteak for me was more like a steak sandwich. Different than what I have been presented with across the state. The sandwich was light on steak. The bread was good but overpowered the sandwich. It was good, and I would go back, but didn't quite crack the top 10 on Scary Good Eats App just yet. Great Service.
