Urban Glo is truly a gem! My absolute favorite product is the **Turmeric & Rosehip Body Oil** — it’s luxurious, nourishing, and smells divine. The moisture and scent last all day and night, and as an added bonus, the oil has wonderful **medicinal benefits** that leave my skin feeling healthy and radiant.

The owner, Salimah, goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. She was so gracious to personally deliver my order since I live nearby — such a thoughtful touch!

I also had the pleasure of working with Salimah when I hosted a candle-making class through Urban Glo earlier this year, and she was absolutely phenomenal. From sending me weekly RSVP updates to helping decorate the venue the day of the event, she was personable, professional, and completely on top of every detail.

The class itself was so much fun , offered multiple scent options and candle designs, and incredibly easy to organize thanks to her expertise. Salimah is not only a talented maker but also a fantastic event planner — she makes hosting seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable. The event turned out beautifully — professional, engaging and a total hit with all participants.

This was such a fun and relaxing experience. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted with such warmth and a welcoming smile by the owner. She was so friendly and supportive with creating our scents. The friendliness and small talk by her daughter was so sweet. As an educator, asking her daughter to share what she was currently reading during the summer and she excitedly replied, melted my heart. I not only would highly recommend this experience but I look forward to going again.

The Urban GLO Candle Making Experience was everything. Cozy, cute, and filled with great energy. Salimah and her assistant Brielle were absolutely lovely. They guided us in a way that was clear and supportive while still giving us room to be creative and have fun.

I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and it was the perfect group activity. We had space to hang out, laugh, curate scents to match our moods, and enjoy something hands-on and different. I named my candle Blush Hour Traffic Jam and loved being able to design something that felt so personal.

Our event host was able to bring in music, food, and beverages which made it feel even more festive and relaxed. This is such a great way to support a local Black-owned business and create special memories with your people. Highly recommend for birthdays or girls’ night out.
