My cat with a sensitivity to anesthesia and a heart murmur was seen here by a radiologist and given a dental cleaning and tooth filing to accommodate an overbite. Although very expensive, the level of care was high and I was satisfied with the outcome that left him much more comfortable in the mouth
My Yorkiepoo, Gatsby, was in desperate need of dental work. With his collapsed trachea, the vets in our NYC area did not feel comfortable putting him under anesthesia and recommended VDS. We drove 2.5 hours and had the loveliest vet! She had a lot of compassion for Gatsby and very knowledgable.
During surgery, they informed us on updates which was great. We took Gatsby home, and they even texted us morning - late night to help us on his healing journey. Gatsby didn't have the appetite for food or meds, and they always reassured us. Months later, Gatsby's personality has completely changed from a 10 year old Yorkiepoo to a youthful puppy. His teeth extraction relieved him from his pain and he's been nothing but happy! He loves trying new vegetables now and probably the healthiest in our family now.
Thanks to the VDS crew for taking great care of our Gatsby!
Dr. Mendelsohn and the rest of the staff did a great job taking care of my 1 year old WPG pup! He had some wonky teeth to extract that were definitely best handled by a specialist. We are lucky to have such highly trained veterinary dentists and support staff in our area.
We came here to see cardiology for my sweet old pup last month. It’s hard to get cardio appts from my experience and the staff at VDS Mt Laurel got me on a waiting list and were QUICKLY able to get us in to be seen by the lovely Dr. King. The staff was so sweet and caring and took wonderful care of Izzy. Dr. King explained her diagnosis thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and the staff were able to get prescriptions to the pharmacy of my choice. I received thorough discharge notes and the best part is when I had follow up questions/concerns today they were able to quickly and thoroughly respond via text. I am so grateful for the care we have received here thus far.
Willow stopped eating and was dropping her food everywhere. We were lucky to get an appointment right away. Willow ended up having a fractured tooth with the pulp root exposed which was the cause of all her pain and they also found a tooth that was the beginning of tooth absorption. She ended up having 2 teeth extracted. The level of care helped comfort me along the way. There were nonstop updates via calls and texts the whole day. Dr Feuer made sure we understood everything involved with the procedure and all of the after care items as well. She even continued to check in via text the next morning to make sure Willow was doing better. Willow is back to herself quickly today eating, playing and sleeping peacefully all thanks to this practice. Highly recommend you visit them if you find your pet needs dental care. You will have an experience full of compassionate doctors and team that just want to help your furry friend feel better!
