I cannot recommend AMA enough, though I would especially recommend getting yourself a pair of socks there, as they are in my opinion some of the best socks you can get, especially if you enjoy hiking or really any physical activity. They're also very warm so I wear mine casually around the house in the winter time 🧦
What's with the hype about alpaca wool socks? I didn't consider it until my 12 pairs of cotton crew socks started to wear out after 6 years of use. My new 12 pair were less cotton and more other materials. My feet sweated more, leaving damp socks. So I skipped Amazon and went local with an experimental purchase of 1 pair of alpaca crew socks. 28 days of wear; 98ºF in heavy work boots. Results: dry feet, cool feet, dry socks, odorless socks. They have a soft terry-like lining on the inside, so no itchy scratchy deal. I was very impressed with the experiment that I bought 4 more pairs in different colors. I donated the 12 cotton socks. These are my new prizes.
They have the nicest yarn! I love their color combinations. My friends and family love the scarves I make from it. They are so warm! And I love that it's all natural!
American Made Alpaca products sold at the Lilymoore Alpaca Farm are of the best quality! They sell sweaters, socks, scarves, hats, gloves and Moore! It is definitely worth the trip to see these products you will love. While you are at it schedule an alpaca trek or farm tour which are a super experience and offered spring, summer and fall. Alpacas are amazing creatures and products made with their soft and warm fur make for great products!
I do not live near American Made Alpaca/Lilymoore Farm, but I stop by whenever I am in the area. The store is adorable, with a great supply of available items. They also have a large online presence, which makes shopping easy when I am not in the area. I have gotten several people socks, and every one of them have said they are the best socks they own. I have also gotten several scarves for friends, which were also a huge success. Diana and her staff are also always very pleasant and helpful. Definitely a 5 star rating from me!
