Cristina is amazing! I can't say enough good things about her yoga practice. She also keeps in touch to give you helpful tips and to let you know when new programs are available. Give her a call!
Back2Health Yoga offers an excellent array of programs; I particularly enjoy the soothing back muscle sessions on Thursday afternoons and join in whenever I can. To say that Christina is a wonderful yoga instructor would not do her justice. One Saturday morning class Christina guided us through a series of routines designed to help get our bodies elevated. Just following her instructions and using typical props (chair, mat, blocks, and blankets) I was able to get my legs and but up off the ground and into the air. I am in my mid-sixties and have worked at this in other studios for over ten years with no real success. This was the first time my body has had this kind of elevation under my own power since I was a teenager… over 50 years ago! This was accomplished while attending the class virtually! My assessment is that Christina is a more thoughtful yoga instructor than most who is highly dedicated to her craft and her students. That’s why simply saying she is a wonderful yoga instructor is just not sufficient.
Cristina's yoga classes have been a tremendous help for me, not only for my back but also my general health. Her instructions and explanations of the Iyengar method are always clear and extremely helpful.
I wasn’t sure yoga was for me because I have some pain and several injuries that limit my activities. I’m so grateful I tried back2health yoga with Cristina! She is a terrific teacher who gives alternate directions for those with limitations… and she does way more than guide us into stretches or poses. Her classes revolve around consciously activating different muscle groups to keep joints safe and get the most benefit out of each movement. It’s way more involved than yoga classes I’ve taken in the past. And- the new studio (with a rope wall) is gorgeous.
I have been going to Cristina’s yoga classes for over a year now. She explains every pose thoroughly before we try them and she always encourages me to work hard and go outside my comfort zone. I am so happy to be able to continue her classes remotely during this pandemic. These classes give my days structure and help keep me healthy during this unusual time. I highly recommend attending her classes.
