Food is absolutely incredible do not pass up! It is so hard to find a gluten free fried chicken so we got both the tofu and chicken one and they were both phenomenal. I love the coconut rice, will be dreaming about it. Also I’ve never had a restaurant be so accommodating to my partners disability / accessibility needs so the vibes are as perfect as the food! Thank you Samara!

dined on: moroccan fried chicken, tahini greens and a chocolate chai cake.

maybe one of the most delicious meals i’ve ever had: the presentation, flavor, portion, textures were all perfect. gorgeous space with a variety of seating options. great music. great, attentive service. super impressed.

This is an absolute gem of a treasure of a special place! My family made a long haul trip to eat here, and wowie was it worth a long car trip! The ambiance is so thoughtfully curated; step inside and you enter a dreamy little oasis with beautiful art, lighting, and really charming details. It really is a feast for the eyes before you even get to the main feast.

The menu is spectacular - we had the Lebanese mezze, the lamb kebobs, the grilled halloumi, the Moroccan fried chicken, and an amazing apricot cake special for desert...I just wish I had the capacity to eat more because every dish was just divine. We were a sober table, so didn't indulge in the alcoholic offerings, but were treated to delicious mocktails (made to order) as well as incredible pomegranate sodas.

The owner, chef, and our server were so thoughtful and welcoming, and made us feel right at home, and we loved learning about the food traditions that inspired the menu.

All in all, if you're a local, you're damn lucky! I would be here on the regular for special events, date nights, and regular old Thursday nights. We can't wait for our next trip. Thank you for such a fantastic experience, keep up the great work Basbousa team!

I understand that every review before me has a 5 star review. In my case to get 5 Stars everything has to be perfect and I don't think it is. We had a great experience dinning here. Awesome ambience and great service. 5 star service. But the food, even though it is freshly made is hit or miss. Let's start with Mezze platter, it is $36 and even though it is 6 dishes the portions are tiny and there is not enough pitta. Falafel was good and sweet potato hummus. Everything else is kinda average. For main course we had Kufta and it had a really good sauce, but the Kufta itself was dry, Moroccan fried chicken was a little overdone for my taste and the rice was way too sweet. The best dish for my taste was chicken kebab, it was very nicely marinated and grilled, it was moist and very tasty with a nice white sauce.
I think their kebabs are the best.

Very nice middle eastern restaurant with a southern flare to the menu. It situated on the Main Street in cozy little mountain dale. The menu has many great sounding options. I went with the fried chicken. It was quite good and I recommend.
