Better Wheels

After shopping around at a few dealerships I was having a really hard time finding an honest salesman who didn’t give you one price on the phone and another in person. I called Steve at Better Wheels to inquire about a used Honda Accord and he told me the price I see is the price I get and he was being truthful. He made the process of buying a car as painless and simple as possible. He had the car washed up for me and pulled out front. He even called later in the week to check in and see if I was happy with my car. Which I am. I got it checked out by my mechanic shortly after purchasing it, and he informed me I bought a good car at a fair price. I’m grateful there are still good guys out there doing honest business and I’m very happy with my new car!

We recently attempted to sell our F150 on our own and received several responses, but with very sketchy payment arrangements. We contacted a few dealers and chose to work with Steve at Better Wheels. He made us the best offer by far, and also gave us a consignment option, which we did, for more money when the truck sold. Not only did the truck sell 3 days later, but Steve made the entire process stress-free and we had the receipt for our plates within a week. Would absolutely go to Steve again the next time we want to buy or sell. Wonderful local business!

Very good experience. I have been searching for a specific car, a 1984 Mercedes 300TD for a long time and ended up purchasing one from Steve at Better Wheels. The only problem is, I live in Denver Colorado. Steve made accommodations for me to have a 3rd party inspection and test drive. Once the purchase price was agreed upon, Better wheels stores the vehicle while I arranged for a transport company to ship the vehicle. Better wheels met the shipping company and signed the bill of lading, FedEx’d the title and was always responsive to my questions. I couldn’t have asked for anything else.

Bought a VW Mk6 Golf (2011) and absolutely adore the car. I've had it for 3 months now and the car is running great. Rob was really helpful talking me through the car and allowing me to test drive it. I was shown the complete history of the vehicle as well. Steve, the owner, is a very fair guy and was very helpful to me, talking me through owning a car and important factors to consider.

When I was buying they let me take the car to one of my parents mechanics to get checked out which I appreciated and gave me peace of mind when buying. After selling the car to me they honored a 30 day warranty which I believe applies to all cars under 100,000 miles. They fixed a minor oil leak as well as a couple other minor issues and overall I feel as a customer I got a great deal and was very fairly treated. Abraham the mechanic helped me understand what was going on and was really helpful as well.

I don't often do reviews but feel they deserved a good one. I would suggest Better Wheels to anyone looking to buy a used car. I'm 23 and it's my first car (was a big step for me to buy my own car) so I am really happy with how I was treated and in the end got a really great deal!
