Great for nature hikes, bring binoculars, lots of wildlife, deer and turkeys, chipmunks 🐿
Stump Pond is completely drained because of the dam being destroyed in Aug 2024 because of the storms. Nonetheless still beautiful, now overgrown by wildflowers and all the deer and other wildlife roaming free. Trails are nice.
You can walk on the old river depending on the recent weather as the ground could be mushy and you could get stuck. Had no issues on 8/10. You can trek to the stream in the center.
Awesome trail! Takes about 3 hours around the whole lake making little stops here n there. Have fun!
First time hiking the loop, and it was awesome! Next time I will spend more time checking out the house, and old mill.
Beautiful park. Nice easy hiking. My dog loves to swim there!
