Both of my children and myself take classes at Britos, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! The classes are both a ton of fun and challenging. Sensei and the instructors are positively inspiring and exceptional at recognizing what each student needs and helping them achieve their individual potential and guiding with a firm yet gentle hand. In addition, the Brito family are truly exceptional humans who genuinely care about their students and the community at large (as evidenced by all that they do to support it year-round). Everyone feels welcome at Britos.

As a parent it has been wonderful to watch my children's focus, determination and growth mindset so clearly skyrocket since they started last year. They work hard in and out of class and have developed such a sense of pride in their physical and mental strength. As an adult student, I highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their confidence, strength and overall well-being. (Kids aren't the only ones who need these things!) There is a solid group of other adults as well as "karate moms" taking classes there who are so supportive and enthusiastic; it's a wonderful community for an adult looking to dip a toe into the world of martial arts. As someone who has never considered herself physically strong and who lives with ADHD and a working memory deficit, I found the first two months to be so challenging that I wanted to quit after every class -- but I'm so glad that I didn't. Once I strengthened my body and things clicked, I watched myself thrive and genuinely LOVE coming to class as many times as I possibly can each week! For all of these reasons, Britos earns my highest recommendation!

We love Britos Martial Arts! Learning karate is honestly the icing on the cake. They teach so many great life skills such as persistence, respect, self worth, focus and self-discipline. In addition to a great workout and self defense skills my son has gained confidence, built friendships and Sensei Luis is always pushing them to reach their very best is all aspects of life not just karate. I love that they are a family run business and Mercedes Brito is always finding ways to enhance our community by holding events and showing up for our community by taking action when called to serve. I’d like to add that we (the whole family) have benefited by enrolling our son in Britos Martial Arts because we’ve truly been welcomed into the “karate family” and it’s a really warm and inviting place and we are very grateful to have found it. 🥋

Excellent place to learn a solid mix of a few different martial arts. The family who owns it are incredible and have done me well mentally, physically and spiritually, especially being I was their only adult student for a long time. I been a student with them for over 5 years, I can assure you, u will not regret coming here. Incredible place for all ages.

Family-owned and operated dojo imparting classes of karate and CHARACTER. Great value and positive, familial environment. Clean facilities and ample parking in paved lot out front.

Both of my kids just started in February at ages 10 and 12. Even though they are older than many of the beginners they did not feel out of place. Sensei Brito placed them in a class with younger students are more advanced so the pace didn’t drag. In just a few short months they have improved and are really enjoying it.
