If you're looking for a BJJ school that is fantastic with kids, look no further than this school! The instructors here are amazing and have a passion for teaching children. They take the time to get to know each child individually and tailor their teaching to each child's unique needs.

Not only do the instructors provide excellent technical instruction, but they also emphasize the importance of respect, discipline, and perseverance both on and off the mat. The school has a positive, welcoming atmosphere where children of all ages and skill levels can learn and grow.

CHBJJ studio is the best around. Master Carlos, Professor Flavia, and Professor Bobby are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and approachable always. They will break down and reexplain any and every new move they teach. They other participants in the gym are eager to teach and eager learn. Here, we are a family and everyone has each others best interests in mind. It is a place for the young such as my son DJ who is just 3 years old, to the older such as Geoff who is just starting out at 59 years young. Master finds a way to personalize every class for each individual. We have former D1 Wrestlers, MMA fighters, down to Teachers, Firefighters and Police Officers. They are heavy supporters of the military and offer specialized classes for students with disabilities. I couldn’t imagine going to any other gym. My entire family trains here and we love this place. I would only trust my wife and kids to the best!

Carlos and Flavia are some very special people. Not only are they amazing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners and instructors but they are also amazing people. They work closely with their students of all ages, thoroughly explaining the finer details of the techniques. They are always helping the community and giving back. Walking into their academy you are greeted like family and quickly accepted into the group. All the people training there are kind courteous and helpful with the new students also helping them grasp the concepts and movements. The class is a great workout helping keep me fit both physically and mentally. It’s easy to fall in love with this art. I highly recommend.

I have been training with Carlos and Flavia ever since they opened up their academy. I could not be happier with their level of instruction and attention to details. The atmosphere in the academy is always positive. My jiu jitsu has improved tremendously since training at CHBJJ. Everyone that I train with has nothing but positive things to say about Carlos and Flavia. The way the kids classes are run is also phenomenal. When our son joined a year ago, our whole family was immediately embraced by the Carlos Henrique BJJ community. This is a family-like atmosphere where everybody knows and supports each other's kids. The students are taught respect, discipline, commitment, determination, and sportsmanship FIRST through the lessons of jiu jitsu.

Kids and adult classes all have a team of supporting experienced color belts who help the classes. They are amazing too. They all have the same goal - to help everyone grow their jiu-jitsu. You'll become a better person while learning jiu-jitsu.

I can't say enough about this place. It's been amazing for our whole family. This is a great community filled with great families.

Plus, my son and I now know how to choke bad guys unconscious or break their limbs. What more can you ask for?!
