We stopped for lunch at Colosseo while vacationing in the Catskills this afternoon.Lisa the server was beyond awesome. Food was good but the service was even better. Lisa also gave us some pointers on local attractions on request
Thank-you Lisa
Lisa was a very attentive server. I had the steam clams special and they were garlicky deliciousness!! The broth was amazing and gave the clams such great flavor. I was told to try the chicken parm. And wow, Hugh and devious .
Great place to eat. The server was friendly gave great suggestions and food was very good. I ordered an eggplant rolitini, filled with ricotta, ham and mozzarella, served with a side of pasta. It was fabulous and enough for two meals. The other meal purchased was spaghetti and three huge meatballs- I didn’t try that but again huge portions enough for two.
We were staying at the Best Western next to this restaurant. Kat from the BW suggested the Colosseum. The food and the staff were both very good! I chose the peach salmon special, it was wonderful and tasty. My wife selected linguine marinara with shrimp, thoroughly enjoyed it. We went back the next day for dinner as well. I ordered the grilled chicken salad it was huge. My wife had a side salad and we split a side of meatballs and sauce. Again all was very good. I highly recommend this place.
Charming pizzeria / pasteria in the Monticello area. Came here to pick up a quick take-out, drove to our AirBnB, put the take-out in the fridge, and our family of 10 decided to come here and have dinner in person instead.
We kept it simple - pizzas and pastas. Pastas were fresh and flavorful, and arrived quickly. Pizzas were incredible. We went for the shrimp scampi and a chicken Marsala - it was tough to decide which one was better, they were both incredible.
Huge seating area, attentive and professional wait staff, and the ambiance that takes you back to the historic district of Rome (except for the one wall that’s covered in Venice) makes for a great dinner with family.
