Ellenville Regional Hospital

After bypass surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital in August 2025 I began 36 sessions of my cardiovascular rehab program at our community hospital in Ellenville in October 2025.

I could not have made a better choice.

The rehab facility has a very welcoming atmosphere with a friendly, patient-oriented staff at the front desk.

The whole area is very light and clean, well ventilated – perfect for physical activity.

Nurses and physical therapists are all wonderful. They guided me and my fellow rehab patients in a very competent manner through the array of work out machines. They always provided a great sense of safety, encouragement, caring, and instilled in me the urge to progress with my physical exercises from day one. They know how to motivate patients, without pressuring them. My wife had the same, very good experience almost 10 years ago there after hip replacement surgery.

I was always looking forward to my mornings at the Ellenville Hospital rehab place. The mix of having fun and serious physical exercise is perfect at this facility thanks to the great people who work there. I signed up at a gym in our area, but I will miss “my” Ellenville rehab center where I was shown successfully the first important steps after major surgery to good recovery and to a physically and mentally balanced life again.

I can only highly recommend Ellenville Hospital for outpatient rehabilitation programs.

I accidentally splashed gasoline in my eye and so I rushed to the ER where they were very attentive. They had me lie down with a saline solution dripping in my eye for about an hour. The Dr would check on me periodically. When I went to the Opthomologist the next day he said I had no damage in my eye bc of the quick action. I was very pleased with the care.

Well My 74 yr old Mom was in the hospital and they basically evicted her after 48 hours from the hospital. She wasn't feeling good after the dr Bob left, and told the nurse who contacted the dr Bob who never came back to check in on her. gave her soulimedol, lincinapril,and a breathing treatment and sent her on her way.if She still not feeling better after taking meds they sent to the pharmacy. She said she is go somewhere else and was not happy with the whole situation this time . SHE is still coughing up very goofy green crap.

Went to the ER here after accidentally cutting open my thumb. Everyone I dealt with was extremely attentive, professional and kind; and even though I was told that it was a fairly busy night for them, I was sewn up and out of there in just a little over two hours.

We’ve been to the Emergency department more times than I can remember, the latest being last night, and have always been treated exceptionally. Even when they are super busy, I always feel confident in the care I will get. From the receptionist to all the medical staff, I’m truly grateful for their help during stressful emergencies. Thank you !
