After going to a rheumatologist for five years, and then consulting a second rheumatologist, for a second opinion, only to be told I had fibromyalgia after multiple blood tests Dr. Itingen was the first doctor to take an MRI as opposed to a blood test to show me I had osteoarthritis because apparently only rheumatoid arthritis shows up in blood tests and osteoarthritis shows up in an MRI. I was a victim of domestic violence, My foot was slammed in a door, which chipped the bone and for years no Doctor or surgeon, would touch it. I met Dr. Itingen, he did the surgery, immediately and took out the bone chip. Due to the chip being in so long, I ended up having torn tendons On the outside of my ankle and foot, Again, I was told by other physicians that I would never walk again.
