Nice big farm for pumpkin picking and related activities. Play area for kids, plus hay rides. There is a shop near the entrance with fresh pies, jams and honey. And nice people to answer any questions. Great place to bring kids. Or stop off to stretch during a long drive.
This was my first pumpkin patch experience, so I really can't compare it to anything. But they had lots of pumpkins in a variety of sizes and colors available up front for easy selection or for picking in the field. They also had lots of other farm goods available for purchase. Plus they had a corn maze, playground, picnic tables, hay rides, and etc for the kiddos. A very cute place with friendly folks running it. I will definitely be returning! Our 2 large pumpkins, 4 small/medium pumpkins, and 3 mini-sized baby pumpkins cost $45 total. Not bad! You pay by weight. :)
So many great strawberries! The freshest I’ve ever handpicked. Very few bugs around, probably the most pleasant u-pick I’ve been to on Long Island. Not a long experience by any means, and the fields were decently stocked. I would gladly come back! Fair pricing and they accept credit cards.
We’ve visited many pick-your-own farms over the years and recently planned to try a new one. Unfortunately, when we called ahead, we were told they were already out of strawberries—what a surprise! So, we searched for another option and found Glover Farm, which turned out to be a great decision. It was actually closer than our original choice and had a charming, family-friendly vibe.
One of the best parts? They have a fun playground area that kept the kids entertained after picking. If you’re bringing a child under two years old, admission is free, which is a nice bonus for families with toddlers. For everyone else, you’re required to purchase at least one quart of strawberries for $9 to enter the fields.
We didn’t just leave with fresh strawberries—we also picked up a jar of local honey and a delicious strawberry pie from their small market stand. Both were absolutely amazing and made the trip even more worthwhile.
If you're looking for a low-key, family-friendly outing with sweet rewards, Glover Farm is definitely worth checking out. We’ll be keeping this one on our list for future visits!
Always fun to bring the whole family to pick pumpkins! Beautiful sunflowers and fresh pies! The goats! Live the goats chickens and ducks! One poor goat was very sticky looking, also very old. Sweet thing had a bandage that desperately needed changing on his right front leg. Staff notified by us and several other visitors.
