Everything was great the East Coast Taco was phenomenal and the margaritas flight was great would definitely recommend this restaurant
My son came from Colombia for a month’s vacation, and he really wanted to try a Mexican-inspired restaurant. We chose Ho’ Brah — one of my top spots in Staten Island — and it was the perfect choice! He loved the fun atmosphere, the music, and the beach-surf style décor, and as a family we all had a great time.
Our server, Joe, was attentive, helpful, and full of positive energy, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.
The food was excellent: I loved their special Fish Taco, my son devoured his Grilled Chicken Quesadilla (he added a squeeze of lime and it was amazing), my little daughter enjoyed her cheese quesadilla, and my wife was thrilled with her fresh salad. As a recommendation, the Blueberry Smash is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for something refreshing and alcohol-free.
Thank you, Ho’ Brah, for such a great experience. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy it again as a family! 🌮🌊
TexMex in a cool atmosphere. Food is tasty with large portions. Very noisy and loud music-- which they turned down when we asked; still difficult to hold a conversation- so definitely NOT a first date spot. I'd return!
If you’re coming for authentic Mexican food, you’re coming to the wrong place. The food is by no means anything special but if you’re hungry, it will satisfy. Pork empanadas were very good and meaty but wish it had some cheese in there. Both quesadillas were very basic, having neutral flavor (tasted like tortilla with salt & pepper)which wasn’t bad but wasn’t outstanding either. Usually Mexican restaurants have their homemade hot sauce but I was given Cholula hot sauce which worked but like I said, “by no means special”. Server was alone and one other bartender so we just paid at the register instead of waiting to be noticed. Food and pricing was good and would satisfy your hunger, but would definitely not be back.
First time visiting this location (been to the Bay Ridge location a couple of times) and it was good, not great.
Great selection of tacos (seemingly the same menu as other location) and good cocktails.
Service was good but the restaurant felt too big--- Bay Ridge location is much more cozy.
