Highly recommend this studio!!! The instructors and fellow students are super welcoming. It has a very community-like, down to earth vibe. The classes cater to all levels. If you’re a beginner, there’s no need to feel anxious. The instructors are kind and patient. They provide individualized suggestions throughout class of how to improve your practice/posture. I’ve only been doing hot yoga for a month or so, but I’ve already noticed an overall boost in my health and well being. I have more energy throughout the day, feel less anxious and my sleep has improved. Thank you to the team at Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach :))

I love the idea and the women seem awesome! The owner (i believe) is extremely rude, disrespectful and clearly doesn’t like to share the building with others. My daughter attends the dance right across from the yoga studio and she came inside with a dirty diaper in her hand and accused the studio of putting the dirty diaper in her trash can outside (not like people visiting the area or someone who lives in the area could possibly had done it, it just HAD to be the dance studio 🙄) then said she was going to dump it in our trash because it belongs to us.. Assupmtion was made. Dumped it in and left with such an attitude. Also, not all. But, some of the men are weird and stare at the little girls in the dance studio. Try to talk to them without addressing the mothers and staring through the glass. They take up majority of the parking on the street and hang around in front of the dance door, constantly in the way. Really makes us uncomfortable and creeped out. Waving and blowing kisses at our children. Extremely disgusting.

Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach rocks! I started coming here in 2017 to practice with all the great teachers Anita and Di and Krystle and now Bella and Christina. The Hot26 class is amazing and I love the hot Yin Yoga too. There is YogaLates and special workshops. Everyday at 9am, sometimes at 6pm and 7:30am too, check the schedule. Come sweat with us!

My Favorite Yoga Studio in New York!

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with you about my favorite yoga studio in New York—Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach.

I joined the studio back in 2011, and at the time, I had never practiced yoga before. However, I was determined to upgrade my lifestyle, and I can't tell you how grateful I am that I made that decision. The combination of gym workouts and hot yoga has truly been amazing for me.

If you're looking to detox, energize, lose weight, and gain more flexibility to feel better overall, I genuinely believe this is the place for you. Hot Yoga Rockaway offers an incredible program featuring a variety of styles like Bikram, Vinyasa, Yin, YinYasa, Fusion, and much more—all with a flexible schedule that can fit into any routine.

The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, and each class feels like a refreshing reset for my mind and body. The environment is supportive; everyone is welcome no matter their level of experience. If you're seeking a path to a lasting lifestyle change, I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try.

I started hot yoga in February of 2023. Since then I have stuck to a weekly practice, I've lost 40 lbs putting me at 162 lbs and I no longer need medication to keep my blood pressure down. I no longer struggle with gout and yoga helps me manage the bursitis in my elbows and gives me peace of mind. I am so grateful to my teachers Anita Ruderman and Dana Humphrey for restoring my health and vitality. Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach is good for my mind body and soul.
